About
Jethro Masís (born in San José, Costa Rica) has taught philosophy (phenomenology, philosophical hermeneutics and history of thought) at the University of Costa Rica since 2007. As of now he is a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and doctoral student of philosophy at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany. At Würzburg, he develops an investigation dealing with a philosophical critique of AI and cognitivism from the point of view of phenomenology.
He is member of the Círculo Latinoamericano de Fenomenología and part of the editorial board of I Vardande. Revista Electrónica de Semiótica y Fenomenología Jurídicas.
